nCircle Officer on Questionable PCI Compliance Fees

Many merchant account providers are now automatically assessing payment card industry (PCI) compliance fees to their ecommerce-merchant customers. But, are these compliance fees fair, or even accurate? In some instances, merchants who don't qualify for PCI compliance are reportedly still charged fees by the merchant account providers.
